I have had many interesting positions during my "life venture," however it always seems to bring me back to my original passion in healthcare with a predominate benevolence for the elderly. In between high school and college, I became a CNA working in healthcare centers with the elderly and I enjoyed it. Even after 4years in the USAR serving as the Platoon Guide/Leader of my unit, receiving an Honorable Discharge as a Specialist(E4) (after the initial shock of realizing that I really enlisted), I still resumed working as a CNA with the elderly.
Fast forward to my 13yr tenure at American Axle & Manufacturing, where I held several positions including Quality Control Inspector, welder, team leader in multiple departments of production, election official for 3 consecutive years for the Local UAW, liaison in the medical transitions department in which I was effective in assisting employees with handicaps and/or injuries to find jobs within their restriction inside of the facilities.
All of these endeavors, seem to bring me back to my fundamental desire in HEALTHCARE.
