A Michigan Family Company
After struggling through the process of care for our own family members, we believed in making a better way. We want you and your families to have the experience we wish we would have had.
It’s not just our job, it’s how we give back to our community and help others live a better life.
In 2019, my wife Chelsea and I were faced with the ongoing struggle to find compassionate and reliable care for loved ones of our own. We identified the need for a Home Care agency that could break through this difficulty and bring Loving, Genuine, Compassionate, and Reliable care to those in need.
We believe people thrive when they are able to remain in their homes whenever possible. It is where their heart is defined and their memories are alive. It is also where they have found comfort in their daily routines and personal items. We want our clients and their families to know that we hold them close in our hearts and will ensure they are in the best hands with our family of caregivers! We believe when we employ and care for our caregivers as family they in turn pass that feeling of a loving caring family to our clients!
My wife Elise and I hadn’t spoken to her mother in years. One morning without notice, my wife received a call from a hospital in Colorado saying her mom was being released in two weeks and they needed to know where to transport her. My mother-in-law had unfortunately suffered a stroke weeks earlier without anyone knowing, lost the mobility in one side of her body, and now needed long term care with 24/7 medical care.
We were thrown quickly into needing to clear out an apartment, find an attorney, handle finances, find a living facility, and learn everything about something we had done nothing to prepare for. All of which was extremely challenging, not including processing our feelings at the same time.
Simply put, the resources available and process were awful. Only two of the nearly fifty estate attorneys I called returned my call, and finding the right facility ourselves was overwhelming. We got through it, but the whole experience gave me pause and the passion to improve the experience for everyone else.
Being in marketing for nearly two decades I understand the importance of clear communication, follow-up, and informed decisions. My pledge to you is to deliver the smoothest process possible as you go through your own personal, emotionally challenging experience.
"I was the sole caregiver for my mother the last two months. I could NOT have done this without the loving help."
"They care about you and they care about your family. They care about their clients and treat you like family."
Waiting could be holding your loved one back from the care they need, mental and physical stimulation, socializing, and a better quality of life.
You may already be experiencing added distancing, stress, and conflict as the child, concerned family member, or the one acting as caregiver.
